My Heart For the Young of Brussels, Belgium

A Revival of the Young in Brussels, Belgium

Early on in my younger years I was overcome with many difficulties in finding who I was, what I was worth, and if I my life had purpose.

Not knowing the answers to these inner questions I lived a life that was filled by temporary pleasures, but never really answered what I longed to know.

There was a vacant feeling in my heart that longed to be filled by love, but I always looked in the wrong places. And for many years from 12 to 19 years old I looked in the wrong places.

By the grace of the Lord I was never alone, God had been re-aligning all my steps that were suppose to lead me nowhere to lead me to Him on the summer of 2013.

That summer I was radically change.

God had spoken to my heart that I didn’t belong in the world, but I was suppose to lead His people to Him.

My God had answered all my inner deepest questions that night.

A few years down the line God has redeemed me, refined me, and developed me to begin to expand His kingdom by reaching out into the world and proclaim His love that changed my life forever.

He has strategically been preparing me for Brussels, Belgium to take His love to the young people that have the same questions I once looked all over the world for an answer, but could never find.

Until I fixed my eyes on Jesus.

Unfortunately the young people have grown to harden their hearts to the church which represents Christ.

0.7% of the population in Belgium are Evangelical Christians.

My heart breaks to see that they are lost, looking for the answers I once looked for in every area that didn’t have God. Until one day I was invited to Church, my discipleship process began and then one night came along where it finally all clicked.

The attacks that happened in Brussels, hit home pretty close for me. Belgium had been in my heart for two years now, and I had just been in Brussels, exactly a week before the attacks happened.
I had been in the same metro station that Monday night a week before, and exact location of the airport at the same time that Tuesday morning before the following Tuesday.

I was heart broken to hear the news, because in my time in Belgium, I saw and felt the spiritual need of divine hope, of divine love, and of divine faith among Brussels...among the young people. I knew that the enemy had attacked, but I also knew that God is working in the midst of all of it.
He is preparing Belgium for the great things to come. I had and still have the peace of God that He is already ahead of the enemy. But I also know that the people of Belgium need now more than ever His love, His hope, and faith in the Lord! It pulled my heart closer to Brussels, knowing that people out there don't know we have a God that is already working in the midst of this chaos and pain.

That is why I’m beyond passionate and excited to disciple and go out into the streets of Belgium for 3 years to reach out to the young, because I want to be a vessel that will point them to look in the right direction.

I want to help them fix their eyes on Jesus.

And watch Jesus answer them,

I want them to know that in the midst of this pain in their beautiful country and city, God is already moving.

I want them to know in their hearts that the Spirit will be moving like never before in Belgium and all over Europe,

And I know God has called me to lead the young in Brussels to Him to expand the kingdom in their land.

To take back their land that has been attacked in every angle by the enemy,

And for the young people to rise up as the generation that God will use for the greatest revival and Kingdom expansion that has yet to happen!

For them to re-establish the True Church, and let the Holy Spirit move like never before!
